Raufarhólshellir is one of the longest lava tubes in the world and is located less than an hour from Reykjavík, making it an easy and worthwhile stop. There are both shorter and longer tour options available, but if your schedule allows, we recommend choosing the longer tour to experience more of the tunnel.
