Vök Baths is a unique geothermal bathing spot that floats on Lake Urriðavatn, just a few minutes from Egilsstaðir. It’s one of the only places in Iceland where you can soak in floating hot pools right on the lake with beautiful water and mountain views.

The water here comes from natural geothermal springs and is very clean, and changing facilities with showers and lockers make it easy to use. There’s also a tea bar and a bistro nearby if you want a bite or a drink afterwards!

If you’re in East Iceland and want a relaxing break from sightseeing, Vök Baths is a nice stop!
