Strokkur is Iceland’s most dependable geyser, located along the Golden Circle. Unlike the original Geysir (which rarely erupts), Strokkur shoots boiling water into the air about every 5–10 minutes, so you rarely have to wait long to see it in action. Eruptions usually reach 50–65 ft and can sometimes go even higher, making it one of the most exciting natural sights on the Golden Circle!
