Gljúfrabúi is a small waterfall hidden inside a narrow gorge next to Seljalandsfoss, and you need to be prepared to get VERY wet to see it properly. Getting right up to the waterfall usually means stepping through shallow water and into the gorge, so wear waterproof shoes, a waterproof jacket and protect your camera or phone. It is not stroller or wheelchair friendly, and the space inside is a bit tight, so expect to spend only about 15 minutes there and please be courteous to others taking photos. Visit early or late to avoid crowds and combine it with Seljalandsfoss since you can park in the same parking lot and take a short 10 minute walk from one to the other.
Cool Photo Idea:
There's a boulder inside of the canyon right below the waterfall, climb on top (be careful because it's very slippery) and angle your camera up towards the top of the gorge. Example in the photo above!! :)
