KEX is a trendy, former factory turned hostel and hotel that works best if you want budget-friendly rooms with a lively social scene and an on-site bar and restaurant with live music. We have never stayed in a hostel before, so we ended up booking one of the private rooms where we had our own bathroom as well. We ended up having a great experience here! You have waterfront views and KEX is only about a 10 minute walk from the main downtown area, so if you're looking for something more budget friendly we would highly recommend staying in a private room here (or in one of the shared dorms if that's more your travel style.) Parking in front of the hotel is limited and fills up fast, so make sure to think about your arrival time ahead of time!
