Whitehaven Beach is easily one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen and is definitely a place I would recommend adding to your bucket list. You can only reach Whitehaven by boat from Airlie Beach or Hamilton Island. We did the Northern Exposure tour from Airlie Beach with Ocean Rafting who are a great affordable option. There are plenty of other tour companies and charter options available. Just double check that they actually drop you off on Whitehaven Beach, specifically near Hill Inlet as that's one of the most beautiful parts of the beach.

This pristine part of the beach is famous for its blinding white sand and vibrant turquoise waters that change shades due to the shifting tides and shallow sandbars it creates. These sandbars are great for exploring and enjoying a swim in paradise. A visit to the Whitsundays wouldn't be complete without seeing this iconic beach with your own eyes!
