Ship Creek Campsite (DOC) is where we camped along this stretch. It’s very basic in terms of amenities, but the setting more than makes up for it. You’re right on the coast, surrounded by wild West Coast scenery, and it’s the kind of place where you can step out of your camper and go for a long beach walk, collect shells, or just take in how untouched everything feels.

It’s also a really convenient and peaceful place to break up the drive between Thunder Creek Falls and Fox Glacier, especially if you want to avoid pushing the whole stretch in one go and prefer a slower, more scenic overnight stop.
