Fox Glacier is one of those places that feels more like a vibe than a checklist. A lot of people come here for the helicopter tours, but even if you skip that, it’s still such a special stop.

It’s really mellow, quiet, and kind of tucked away. Think pretty, easy hikes, little forest walks that feel like fairy gardens, random sheep everywhere, and even glow worms if you go out at the right time.

There’s not a ton to “do,” but that’s kind of the point. It’s more about slowing down, taking it in, and just being in a really beautiful, peaceful place for a bit.
