Queenstown is the perfect starting point for your RV trip. If you land early, pick up your RV and hit the road right away. But a lot of flights, like ours, arrive later in the day after rental offices have closed. Luckily, it’s an easy setup. The airport is only about 15 minutes from town, and grabbing an Uber or taxi is super simple. We stayed our first night in downtown Queenstown and spent the evening exploring on foot, which ended up being the perfect way to ease into the trip. There are tons of great Airbnbs and hotels in town, and then you can head out the next morning to pick up your RV and start the adventure feeling refreshed.
