Wānaka is such a necessary stop on this road trip. It feels like a quieter, more laid-back version of Queenstown, but just as beautiful, if not more.

There are views everywhere you look, the lake, the mountains, all of it. And there’s actually so much to do, but it still somehow feels calm and not overwhelming.

You can keep it super simple here. Grab a coffee or gelato, walk along the water, let the kids run around, or just sit and take it all in. Ride bikes., hike the skate park or go on a hike!

It’s one of those places that just feels easy and really, really pretty.
