This was such a good little reset stop for us. The views here are unreal, you’re looking at the mountains, and it just feels really peaceful and open.

They also have a playground and a trampoline, which was huge for the kids after being in the car so much.

We freedom camped most nights, but this was one of those places that felt so worth it to actually plug in for a night. We charged everything, refilled all our water, did laundry, and just reset a bit before continuing on.

It’s also a really great base if you want to explore the area, super close to Fox Glacier walks, Lake Matheson, and a bunch of easy, beautiful trails.
