The Dovžan Gorge near Tržič is a beautiful natural site carved by the Tržič Bistrica River. With unique waterfalls and cool rock tunnels and formations, it's a must-see for nature lovers. Protected as a natural monument since 1988, this gorge boasts a rich geological history.

We recommend this place for an easy nature walk. There are 2 parking sites (free): one at the start, and the other at the end of the trail. The walk is quite diverse and easy to follow.
