This is the main square of Koper, called Tito Square. This square is surrounded by four of the most important buildings in the city:

• Cathedral of the Assumption and the Bell Tower

• Praetorian Palace

• Loggia Palace

• Armory and Foresteria Palace

If you pay close attention, you will see that this square is one of the strongest examples of Italian architecture in Koper. Two of the buildings even feature the winged lion statue, which was the symbol of the Republic of Venice.
