Škofja Loka is a charming medieval town in northwestern Slovenia. It has a very well-preserved old town with picturesque squares and alleyways. This is not a very popular city for tourists, but it can be a great place to stop if you are traveling around the area.

Škofja Loka is also very popular amongst travelers who come to Slovenia multiple times. I really recommend doing the walk up to the castle, it is beautiful.

The river around Škofja Loka also has a lot of nice spots for swimming, which is amazing during the summer.
