Message from Francesco Meola

The Abbey of San Mercuriale is located in Forlì, in the region of Emilia-Romagna. It's a historic religious site built in the 12th century in Romanesque-Lombard style and is dedicated to the first Bishop of Forlì.

It was built on the remains of a 6th-century church, and it features an impressive 70-meter-high bell tower.

One of my favourite places of the abbey is its cloister, such a peaceful place to enjoy in Forlì. A visit to the abbey is a must if you plan to visit this part of Italy
