This is where the bus terminal of Ischia Porto is located. Is very close to the ferry port and it's perfectly located for those that want to explore the island using public transport.

Even though renting a car or scooter allows you for more freedom, exploring Ischia with public transport is easy and sometimes more convenient. Roads are small in some parts of the island, and unless you are skilled in driving in those conditions, I wouldn't recommend renting a car.

Make sure to download on your phone the timetable of the busses, so you can plan your trips on the island according to it. Busses were always on time, but make sure to be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes earlier.

Here you can buy tickets at the ticket office (not on the bus). You can buy multiple tickets so you always have some with you when needed, or buy the daily or 3 days bus ticket, so you don't have to worry about it.
