If you want to enjoy one of the most stunning views over Naples, then Sant'Elmo Castle is the place to go. With its incredible view over Naples and the Vesuvius, it's one of my favourite places in the city.

To visit the ticket is €5, and even though you can book the tickets online, you should be fine by just going there and purchasing the ticket on the spot.

To reach it, there are several public transports you can take: the funicular Montesanto, fermata Morghen; or Chiaia, fermata Cimarosa; or Centrale, fermata piazza Fuga. You can also take the underground (L1) and stop at Vanvitelli.
