Madinat Habu is an ancient necropolis in western Thebes, Egypt, known for its impressive mortuary temple dedicated to the god Amon and adorned with scenes of Ramses III's military victories. Originally a small shrine dating back to the 11th dynasty, it was later expanded by various rulers and served as a fortified site during times of unrest. In addition to its religious significance, Madinat Habu also housed a thriving Coptic town called Djeme within its walls during the 1st millennium CE.
