At Dahshur, the Bent Pyramid is a compact, visibly "bent" early-era pyramid you can walk around and often enter if the interior is open, but note that interior access sometimes costs extra or is closed for conservation so check at the ticket booth. It’s easiest reached by taxi or a day tour from Cairo (about a 40 km drive), and there are few services on site, so bring water, sun protection, and cash for tickets and vendors. Go early to avoid heat and the largest tour groups, wear sturdy shoes for uneven ground and low passages if you go inside, don’t climb or touch the stones, and consider a licensed local guide to explain the site and handle ticketing. Photography is fine, but drone use requires prior permission, and facilities like restrooms and shade are limited.
