Mangawhai is a township at the south-west end of the Mangawhai Harbour approximately a 6km walk along the TA beyond Mangawhai Heads. The town offers, shops and accommodation with New World being a great spot to resupply before starting the next section. The Riverside Holiday Park here is very welcoming to TA walkers and sits right by the water but is a fair walk beyond the shops so make sure to grab everything you need before heading out!
