What it’s really like:

Maravu Taveuni Lodge is set on a large property with a few different room options, all simple but comfortable.

The restaurant serves great food with good servings, with a small bar to the side. This overlooks the pool.

This is a great base if you want to do all the popular day trips. There's a chalkboard near reception that you can add your name to for the next day's options.

BRING CASH as they didn't have a lot of credit card facilities when I visited in Jan 2023.
