If you'd like to see more of Bow Lake than the roadside viewpoint, head to this shoreline parking area just a little further along the Icefields Parkway. There is a seasonal cafe here as well as an upscale lodge. Head to the edge of the lake for the best views.

There is a half day hike starting from this scenic parking area, to Bow Lake Falls. It is 9km round trip with just under 300m elevation gain. Allow around 3 to 4 hours.

A Parks Canada parks pass is required to drive the Icefields Parkway.
