Herald Provincial Park is a popular campground near Salmon Arm. It is super convenient as an overnight stop between Revelstoke and Vancouver.

There are 117 vehicle accessible sites spread across three different areas, all close to the shores of Shuswap Lake. All sites are reservable three months in advance via the BC Parks website. From 2026, non-BC residents will be charged an additional $20 per stay, per camping group, at provincial campgrounds.

The trailhead for Margaret Falls is just across the road from the campground.
