Morant's Curve is a famed photospot on the Bow Valley Parkway. The railway line runs along a bend of the Bow River, just below the road. The view of the train, the river and the backdrop of imposing mountains is truly iconic!

Even if there isn't a train, it's still a beautiful photospot.

Although 25-30 trains usually travel along this line of railway track each day, you still have to time it right to get lucky. Some photographers will wait hours to capture the perfect shot.

A Parks Canada parks pass is required to explore Banff National Park ($22/day for a vehicle of up to 7 people).
