Wapiti is another large vehicle accessible campground located to the south of Jasper townsite. Parks Canada has confirmed that Wapiti will open for the summer 2025 season.

The campground is sandwiched between the Athabasca River and the Icefields Parkway. It is usually open year round and is well equipped with showers and some electrical campsites. All of the sites are reservable via the Parks Canada website, with the booking system launching in January each year.
A Parks Canada parks pass is required to stay in Jasper National Park.
