Shannon Falls is one of BC's highest waterfalls (335m). The first viewpoint is situated 200m from the parking area, an easy 5 minute walk through an old growth forest. In spring, the force of falls is extraordinarily powerful and mist builds around the base.

The parking lot can be very busy but there is decent turnover since most people spend around 30 minutes here. On hot days, some visitors (especially young families) will swim and play in the creek below the falls.
