Continue the drive along Maligne Lake Road to the Medicine Lake Lookout. This glacier-fed lake is famous for its 'disappearing' water. The interpretive signage in front explains this phenomenon. There are several picnic tables as well.

Medicine Lake was unaffected by the 2024 Jasper wildfire, but you may still notice the lack of foliage in this area. It is the result of a wildfire that started just north of the lake in 2015.

A Parks Canada parks pass is required to explore Jasper National Park.
