It might seem unusual to recommend a specific rest area, but the one at Taylor River is quite special.

The main rest area boasts a spacious paved parking lot, picnic tables, and a washroom facility. Surrounded by forest and hills, the setting is already quite picturesque.

Just below the rest area, you’ll find an incredibly turquoise river that looks almost unreal! The water is crystal clear and perfectly calm. While swimming is possible here in warm weather, be aware that the water is still very cold!
