Driving the Pyramid Lake Road (15km return, 30 minutes) is a wonderful, scenic low effort activity in Jasper. Close to town, it is a good option for mornings and evenings, before/after longer activities.

Elk are very commonly seen on this narrow and winding road that first passes Patricia Lake before skirting the edge of Pyramid Lake itself.

A Parks Canada parks pass is required to explore Jasper National Park - $22/day for a vehicle of up to 7 people.
