Maligne Lake's shoreline has views of huge mountains further south. A short trail leads from the parking area towards the Maligne Lake Cruises dock and cafe/shop and along the waterfront. Total length is around 600m - if you'd like to walk further, consider the Mary Schäffer Loop (3.2km total with very little elevation gain).

A Parks Canada parks pass is required to explore Jasper National Park.
