Reminiscent of a small-scale Niagara Falls, Dawson Falls stretches wide across the Murtle River.
Consisting of multiple cascades with a total height of 20m, this wide, horseshoe-shaped waterfall is pretty majestic in its own right. And there are a couple of different ways to see it.
There are two viewpoints accessible from the main parking lot. The first is 450m from the parking lot and has a wide view of the entire waterfall. The second viewpoint is 250m further along the same trail and features a side view of Dawson Falls.
A third viewpoint is accessible via a short hike from Pyramid Campground, a little further along Clearwater Valley Road.
