Spotted Lake, or Ktlil'x”, is one of Osoyoos' most unique features. This saline alkali lake features hundreds of small, colourful mineral-rich pools created as a result of evaporation.

Depending on the time of the year and recent weather, Spotted Lake’s appearance can vary. Summer is the best time, with the hot weather producing the effect.

Spotted Lake is a protected cultural heritage site and is located on Osoyoos Indian Band land. There is a small viewpoint on Highway 3, with parking room for just a few vehicles.
