Begbie Falls is a twin waterfall just a short detour away from Highway 1. In fall, spawning salmon can be seen in the river below the waterfall.

There are two ways to access Begbie Falls:

The quickest way is to drive almost all the way via the narrow and unpaved Clough Road and Begbie Falls Forest Service Road (which is labelled Mount Begbie Road on Google Maps). A high clearance vehicle is best or be prepared to drive slowly and carefully. The waterfall is a 5-10 minute downhill walk from the parking area.

The longer way involves a 5km return hike on the Bluff Trail. The trailhead is located at the Begbie Bluffs parking area on Highway 23. Mostly downhill to the falls, prepare to gain just over 200m on the way back! Allow 45 to 60 minutes each way.
