The largest concentration of wineries in Canada can be found on the Naramata Bench, just a short drive from downtown Penticton. There are over 40 Naramata wineries in a stretch of less than 20km, making it possible to easily walk or cycle between tasting rooms.

The wine region is also absolutely stunning, with lake and mountain views from many winery tasting rooms. On a hot day, you could easily believe you're in Italy or southern France! Even better still, the road along the Naramata Bench doesn't 'go' anywhere so it is generally pretty quiet. There's no other wine region quite like this one.

Winery tasting fees vary from $5 to $30 or more. Some are refundable with a purchase. Reservations are preferable on weekends. More details about every Naramata Bench winery on the Best of Penticton website.
