The Promenade de la Treille is a tranquil and sun-kissed escape in Geneva, Switzerland, home to arguably the longest wooden bench in the world. Built in 1767, the bench is composed of 180 wooden boards and snakes around the park's perimeter, totaling 120m. With its unbeatable view of the Salève and Jura mountains and shaded by Chestnut trees, it offers the perfect spot for taking in the scenery. In early spring, the blooming of the chestnuts is said to announce the coming of the new season in Geneva! Visitors can expect a peaceful, serene and picturesque experience while visiting Promenade de la Treille park.
