One of the best ways to enjoy the Jungfrau region is beyond a doubt, a scenic boat cruise on the turquoise blue waters of Lake Brienz! It's such a relaxing activity to sit and enjoy the breeze from the lake and admire the picturesque villages and stunning mountain backdrops.

You can hop on from the boat terminal at Interlaken Ost, which is right next to the train station, and take the full boat cruise towards Brienz. If you would like to hop off midway to explore, I recommend getting off at Iseltwald, the famous film location of the k-drama Crash Landing on You, or at the Giessbach Falls.

There are dining options onboard too, so you can opt to have lunch and reserve your menu online.

Take note that the cruise on Lake Brienz is only available from Mid-April onwards to end October.

For winter season, you can board the cruise on Lake Thun instead.

If you have the Half-Fare card, it costs 17.50CHF for the full journey from Interlaken Ost to Brienz.
