One of the most unforgettable stops on my lap, the Bungle Bungles is a seriously unique landscape of beehive shaped sandstone domes striped in orange and black. To visit Purnululu National Park, you’ll need a 4WD to tackle the rough 53 km track from the highway (seriously one of the roughest roads in Aus)

Once you’re in the park there’s plenty to explore, including spots like Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm (my fav) both accessible via walking tracks. It’s worth allowing at least 2–3 days to really take it all in.
