The Sugar Pine Railroad, located just outside Yosemite National Park, is a charming little piece of history that takes visitors on a scenic ride through the stunning Sierra Nevada landscape. Originally built in the early 20th century to transport logs from the surrounding forests, this narrow-gauge railroad has been transformed into a delightful tourist attraction. Passengers can hop aboard vintage steam locomotives and enjoy a leisurely journey through towering pines and picturesque vistas. The train follows an out and back route and offers a short break off of the train halfway through for pictures. In addition to the train ride, there is gold mining and a picnic area. Be sure to check out their calendar for special events and the different rides they offer!
