Fair warning, swim at your own risk! The water is NOT warm 🥶 I jumped in but I only lasted about 5 seconds. But it was still so refreshing after the hot hike! Test the water first to see if your body can handle it before jumping straight in because sometimes the cold can put your body into shock 😳 I also heard this area was closed for one day due to a cliff jumper breaking their leg and needing rescue, so let’s keep the extreme sports to the professionals and not here so everyone can enjoy :)

It's rimmed by impressive cliffs surrounded by an array of evergreen and alder trees. The basin's beauty draws in many hikers, photographers, and mountain bikers every year, offering an exciting and picturesque outdoor experience. During wetter times, Tamolitch Falls becomes visible as water flows over a buried river below the surface of a lava flow from Belknap Crater.
