Tunnel Falls via Eagle Creek Trail is an amazing 13.6-mile out-and-back trail near Cascade Locks, Oregon that offers breathtaking sights and great camping and hiking opportunities. This trail is rocky but relatively easy to navigate. Popular among hikers, it generally takes around 6 hours and 22 minutes to complete. There are around 8 waterfalls to see along this journey, as well as great swimming holes and places to picnic. Not only is this hike absolutely stunning, it provides a great workout as well! Make sure to pack sunscreen, lots of water, and get an early start so you can beat the heat and crowds. You won't regret taking this hike; from seeing incredible waterfalls to getting lost in nature, you won't soon forget your experience on Tunnel Falls!

• Remember to leave no trace when visiting these beautiful locations! Stay on trail, pack out your trash, and respect other visitors.

• We saw two black bears on this trail so remember your bear spray just in case!

• Trails can be muddy and even icy in colder months so make sure you read trail reviews and are prepared

• Service is spotty so I would also download offline maps before heading to the trailhead.

• Parking is also limited so you may have to hike an extra mile just to get to the trailhead on busy days. Take valuables with you as car break ins can happen.
