We didn’t really plan to stop here — it just appeared while driving along the coast. When the sea is low, you can walk across the wet sand to reach it. Up close, the stones are rough and weathered, covered in small shells and traces of time. If you have time, watch the water creep back in, slowly surrounding the fort again until it became an island. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a storm — It seems like it would be an incredible photo to see this fort during a storm.

🌊 Best time to visit: Low tide — when you can walk right up to the fort
🏖️ Experience: Watch the fort become an island as the tide rises
⚠️ Tip: Check the tide schedule — the sea comes in fast around the fort
