Narsarsuaq is the gateway to lush valleys and Norse ruins in South Greenland. Evidence of the town's significant role as an allied airbase during World War II can be seen throughout the area, and it is home to the Greenlandic Arboretum, where you can walk through a forest of tall trees. In the summer, the landscape is dotted with Greenlandic wildflowers, guiding you to viewpoints offering stunning views of nearby glaciers, despite the fact that Greenland's ice sheet is just six kilometers away.
