The Lookout Rubha Hunish, located on the northernmost point of the Isle of Skye in Scotland, is an incredible place to visit.

Originally built as a coastal watch post in the early 20th century, this historic spot has since been converted into a bothy—a small shelter made for hikers and adventurers.

The breathtaking views of the surrounding sea and islands serve as an unforgettable backdrop no matter the season. Inside, visitors can find a few wooden bunks and chairs, or spy out wildlife like whales using the binoculars provided.

Reaching here isn't easy - the walk can be over quite a lot of marshland, so be sure to bring the right footwear. Also bothy's are designed as a safe place for hikers in trouble so staying here is only possible if that situation arises.
