This is a big natural gorge in Launceston, with a pool, walking tracks, lookout spots, a café, a restaurant, and heaps of space to picnic. There’s also a chair lift that takes you over the basin! 

Locals kept recommending it as a must-do if you’re spending any time in Launceston. Looks like a place you could easily spend the whole day in. 

We didn’t get there ourselves, but it came up a lot as an easy, fun stop.
