This is a gorgeous beach, with crystal clear water, white sand, and the iconic orange boulders. It’s a great spot for families, as the waters are very calm, too.

It’s also got a solid free campground right next to the beach, making it an easy base if you're exploring this stretch of coast.

Just note that it’s the only free campsite in the Bay of Fires area that doesn’t allow dogs.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Free campsite for tents, small caravans, and campervans

  • First-come first served

  • Park pass needed

  • Hybrid toilet

  • Quiet, peaceful vibe

TO ACCESS

  • 2WD-friendly

  • About 15 minutes north of St Helens

  • Short walk from car to beach and camp area
