Honeymoon Bay is a tiny, tucked-away spot inside Freycinet National Park with calm, shallow water that makes it great for families or a quick dip after a walk.

It’s small and sheltered, so it feels pretty peaceful even when there are a few people around. It’s great for snorkelling and kayaking too!

There are also a handful of tent-only campsites right by the bay, you can pre-book them via the Visitor Centre. More info here!

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Sheltered, clear water

  • Small and quiet, but no shade or facilities

  • Usually busiest during holiday periods

TO ACCESS

  • Inside Freycinet NP, parks pass required

  • Small car park, go early in the day if in peak season
