This is one of the better all-rounder beaches in the Bay of Fires area. The water is still bright turquoise, but with a bit more swell, so it’s perfect for surfing! There’s good fishing too.

There are two campsites, both free - Cosy Corner North and South. Both have that classic orange boulder backdrop and sit right near the beach. You’ll only need a park pass.

The campsites get busy in peak season, though, so if you really want to stay there, try to arrive early to grab a good spot!

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Free campsite for tents, small and long caravans, and campervans

  • First-come first served

  • Park pass needed

  • Hybrid and pit toilets

  • Dogs allowed on lead

TO ACCESS

  • 2WD-friendly

  • About 15 minutes north of St Helens

  • Located between Swimcart Beach and The Gardens
