This is a free, first-come-first-served campground about 30 minutes from Freycinet National Park. It’s a good base if you’re self-contained and want to stay in the area for a couple of days!

Sites are scattered through the bush and suitable for tents, campervans, and caravans. There are pit toilets but no water, so bring everything with you.

The beach here is long, wild and beautiful. Just be mindful of where you walk, as the sand is a nesting site for several bird species.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Quiet bush-style campsites close to the beach

  • Self-contained only

  • Suitable for tents, vans, and caravans

  • Pit toilets only, no water, no bins

  • Great swimming and coastal walks nearby

TO ACCESS

  • About 30 min north of Freycinet NP

  • Accessible by sealed and gravel road (2WD-friendly)
