This is a massive sand dune system near Strahan. Locals kept mentioning it as a fun stop nearby with a totally different vibe to the usual rainforest and mountains.

Most people climb up the dunes, play around in the sand, go sandboarding, etc. We’re told you can hire boards in Strahan.

There’s also Ocean Beach nearby if you want to explore a bit further! We’re told you can drive on the beach if you have a 4WD.
