This track goes from Cockle Creek out to South Cape Bay, about 15km return (~5 hours).

There’s this stunning, unspoiled beach at the end, great for surfing! There’s also this rock formation called Lion Rock, which you can easily see from the sand.

We tried to do it with a surfboard so Chris could surf there, but his knee was sore so we had to turn around. But it looks like such a good mission if you’re keen on a remote surf spot.

We reckon it’d be better as an overnight hike, though!
